School Dinners

All Reception and KS1 children are entitled to a free school meal under the government's Universal Infant Free School Meal UIFSM. This is optional and your child may still bring in a packed lunch if preferred.

Parents of KS2 children who stay to dinner are asked to note that dinner money must be paid, unless the child is absent. This can be paid via ParentPay. The cost per day is £2.65.   Parent selection can be accessed via Parentpay & allows you to pre-book your child's school hot meal choices from the day before and can be prebooked up until the end of term. This needs to be booked by midnight the night before & paid for at the time of booking to ensure your child's meal is booked.

Menus are sent out to parents in advance, attached below and displayed on the window inside the office.

If your child brings a packed lunch we encourage this to be as healthy as possible. GLASS CONTAINERS ARE NOT ALLOWED for safety reasons.  High energy drinks and chewing gum are not permitted in school.
FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Not to be confused with the universal infant free school meals for all KS1 pupils, it is vital that all Key Stage 1 pupils who are eligible to claim benefits-related Free School Meals are registered in order for schools to receive the Pupil Premium funding.

The 'Free Schools Meals Application Form' has been revised and is available as a download below. Alternatively please apply online. Parents/carers complete one application for all of their children – whether it is for Free School Meals (so Year 3 and above who must pay for their school lunches) or for their child’s school to receive Pupil Premium only (i.e. for KS1 children who already receive a free school lunch).
