Welcome to St Stephen Churchtown Nursery, St Stephen, Cornwall

St Stephen Churchtown Nursery serves the village of St Stephen and its surrounding communities of Coombe, Goonabarn, Menna, Stepaside, Terras, Trelion, Treneague and Treviscoe.

Specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years, our school-based nursery helps bridge the gap between pre-school and Reception Class, providing the best of starts to your child’s learning journey.

In the nursery we provide the children with opportunities to explore and learn through play, as well as more focused experiences. Everything is designed to develop the essential social and learning skills children need when entering more formal learning at a later stage. We promote inquisitive minds and independent attitudes and have created a space in which children can thrive.

Our nursery is a carefully planned environment which allows children to explore, practise and refine learning using a core set of resources which are built upon throughout the year.

Flexible Nursery Sessions 

To suit your family's needs, we offer various session types at St Stephen Churchtown Nursery:

  • Morning sessions 5 days a week: 8.45am-11.45am
  • Afternoon sessions: 5 days a week: 12.15pm-3.15pm
  • All-day session: 5 full days: 8:45 am - 3.15pm
