What we are up to in class

Perranporth Class have been busy creating their World War One Trenches
Year 4/5 was very busy creating and making their inventions that save lives. 
 
In RE, they looked at different fabrics, colours and materials to design practical clothes for Adam and Eve suited for them living in the wild. 
Year 4/5 have been enjoying their new chalks during the break time and lunch time 
Y4/5 (Perranporth Class) children have been enjoying this term a lot! They've learnt facts about the war, how everyone contributed during the war; women and children included. Our class book 'War Horse' by Michael Morpurgo took us back to 1914-1918. Their homework looks fantastic! Well done!

What a wonderful day! Perranporth class launched their new topic by creating enchanted fairy houses and their own fantasy land maps. They truly are a fabulous class! 
Anti bullying week was launched by Year 4/5 making a card for a friend. Every morning, the children will do a different friendship activity.
Today was all about friendship, making bracelets. Y4/5 have worked beautifully and patiently,  helping each other and created some lovely pieces of jewellery. 
The children in Perranporth class have enjoyed making anti bullying badges, having discussions what it means to be bullied and the impact it can have on mental health.

Yesterday,  Y4/5 produced fantastic Pop Art style friendship display.  We are the best team! All adults are super proud of you all
What a wonderful work! In English, children wrote poems about a friendship using figurative language to make their writing more interesting.
To end our last day of Anti-Bullying Week, was all about working as a team. Huge well done to all wonderful children in Perranporth class. We ARE the masterpiece

This morning, Perranporth Class have had some Christmas fun making stained glass art. 
Perranporth Class - Christmas Card Post Box
Perranporth Class (Year 4/5) enjoyed Christmas Science experiments this afternoon. They grew Grinch's heart, explored Reindeer droppings dancing, made Northern lights  and had fun making a fake snow.
Today, children in Year 4/5 developed their techniques while making stained glass candle holders. 
Yesterday afternoon Perranporth class took part in their own netball tournament.  It was lovely to see each child put into practise all the training they had been given over the last half term.  Some amazing and surprising goals and a display of fantastic teamwork.  Well done to them all!
Today, Perranporth were busy making Christmas cards and calendars for 2021.
Busy Thursday at Y4/5 making Christmas hats decorations, Gnomes, solving Mystery Maths and performed dance `Cats`.
