An afternoon of Forest School for Caerhays Class.

A huge well done to Crantock and Caerhays who battled it out in Friday’s Cornwall School Games Christmas Event.  We chose to host a Christmas netball tournament as the children have been learning netball in their PE sessions this half term.  So we thought what a great way to end the term.
12 teams - all named after the 12 days of Christmas.  Spectacular effort, fantastic sportsmanship and a display of excellent netball that we are so proud of.  All teams played in group stages before we held two semi finals.  Once these were played we had some very strong contenders in the final.  We even had to go to extra time! Partridges were the overall winners who each received a medal. We gave out Christmas chocolate treats to our player of the tournament. Each child received a Santa lolly for taking part.  Despite the horrendous weather at times our children were amazing! #2020CSGChristmas
