The children from Carlyon Bay and Lansallos class visited the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge for a Farm and Country Day, among 1500 other Cornish school children.

They interacted with a large number of animals, spoke to a range of people who work in the farming industry and had a go at some of the jobs themselves, which included planting seeds, being an auctioneer, milking cows, preparing food, building gates, and so, so, so much more! We feel the chicks and lambs are incredibly lucky to still cuddled with their brothers and sisters, as so many of the children (and adults) were tempted to bring some home.

The children made us proud with their enthusiasm, interest and thought provoking questions, which was even commented on by the adults the running day, asking which school we came from. Did St.Stephen Churchtown Academy proud!
